Hemp and its ecosystem took center stage on September 7, 8, and 9 at the Châlons Fair.
The Hemp European Hub present at the Terres & Vignes exhibition
The Hemp European Hub was present on September 7 and 8 at the Terres & Vignes exhibition, inaugurated by Bruno Forget, Commissioner of the Châlons Fair. A partner of the Hemp European Hub project since its inception, Terres & Vignes brings together the major players in agriculture and viticulture in the Aube region. This collective works to strengthen the economic role of agriculture and viticulture in the region. To this end, it carries out promotional activities aimed at the general public.

This welcome at the Terres & Vignes exhibition allowed us to meet players in the hemp industry and also to introduce or reintroduce hemp and its products to many interested visitors.
The cluster showcased various hemp markets by exhibiting cosmetics made from 100% virgin hemp oil from the Chanvria brand and textiles from a designer based in the Aube region who uses forgotten natural materials, Limit Ed Concept. The construction market was represented by CIBBIOS, an expert in prefabrication using hemp, and the Belgian company ISOHEMP, which specializes in the manufacture of hemp bricks. Finally, the agricultural cooperative La Chanvrière, European leader in hemp production and processing, was also at our side at the Châlons Fair.
Bio-based products in the spotlight
for Bioeconomy Week in the Grand Est region

Our partner Bioeconomy For Change, a leading network for the bioeconomy in France, Europe, and internationally, was also present on September 9 during Bioeconomy Week in the Grand Est region to showcase bio-based materials and products.
Another highlight took place this week for the hemp ecosystem at the Châlons Fair. This is the signing of the sectoral agreement for the sustainable development of plant fibers in the Grand Est region for 2023-2027. Its objective? Double the market share of plant-based fibers in national consumption of textiles, materials, buildings, and transportation within 10 years!
Many partners of the Hemp European Hub were present to sign the contract. (Collectif 3C Grand Est, UIT Champagne-Ardenne, FRD-CODEM, La Chanvrière, Cibbios, Envirobat, URCA, etc.)
