Last June, a delegation of French companies (FRD-CODEM, HEMP-it, INRAE, La Chanvrière, NutriMarketing and Wall Up Préfa), accompanied by COBASA, travelled to South Africa to share their expertise as part of a mission to support the emergence and development of a multi-market hemp sector in South Africa.
We are proud to have supported this mission! For 10 days, the French experts visited 4 regions and met with more than 400 stakeholders.

In early December, they presented the key findings of their assessment to South African stakeholders, including the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agricultural Research Council, the University of Johannesburg, and the Ministry of Industry.
They shared their expertise on all aspects of the value chain and proposed concrete solutions tailored to the market.
