CARMINA: innovation and solutions for agricultural decarbonisation

A Carbon Club for agriculture and ecological transition

CARMINA: innovation and solutions for agricultural decarbonisation

An innovative carbon club, born out of a shared need. Discover how we support project stakeholders with concrete and effective solutions.

Creation of a Carbon Club in the Grand Est region

CARMINA is a project jointly supported by the Grand Est Regional Chamber of Agriculture and Terrasolis, funded by the Grand Est Region and the EAFRD (EU). The project aims to amplify, structure and support agricultural decarbonisation initiatives in the region. Its objective: to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable, innovative and low-carbon agriculture.

Project context

This project, launched in January 2025, aims to reduce agricultural emissions in the Grand Est region. To achieve this, it is relying on the creation of a Carbon Club, a central pillar of its strategy, which must be sustainable over the long term.

Needs of the actors

Because innovation is a cornerstone that must underpin the club, its structure presents complex challenges that require a review of traditional organisational models. The PEC draws on its experience in organisational innovation to deliver its services.

The contributions of the Pole

 • L’établissement des bases d’une coopération durable entre les acteurs
 • Building the club together, starting with the atmosphere and gradually moving towards establishing a structure
 • Experimenting with a new model for regional cooperative ecosystems
