The CARMINA project, funded as part of the European Partnership for Innovation‘s Operational Groups, aims to amplify, harmonise, structure and support agricultural decarbonisation initiatives in the Great East region, with a view to accelerating the achievement of carbon transition objectives at regional level. This project, jointly led by the Great East Regional Chamber of Agriculture and Terrasolis, funded by the Great East Region and the EAFRD (EU), includes the creation of a carbon club, a regional body for territorial cooperation, providing benchmarks, mutual knowledge, expertise, documentary resources and networking to support the low-carbon agricultural transition..
It is in this context that the Hemp European Hub was asked to share its experience of organisational innovation projects with the project partners. The team is responsible for supporting the carbon club throughout the first year of the project, in order to foster long-term commitment among actors involved in the carbon transition around a shared goal.
The first workshop was held on 23 April, during which the following topics were discussed:
- To create a space in which all the various stakeholders can learn about sustainable cooperation.
- Laying the foundations for implementing the principles of co-construction.
- Strengthen the ability of stakeholders to cooperate in a sustainable way.
Two other dates are planned. The aim is to provide partners with the keys to building their carbon club independently, as part of a collective effort to structure a local cooperative ecosystem.
