Best wishes for 2021!

The entire Hemp European Hub team wishes you all the best for 202 The first year of implementation was disrupted by the health crisis. Nevertheless, we were able to set up all the technical groups planned for the various hemp value-added markets (textiles, plastics, composites, construction, food, cosmetics, health). Work has also begun with upstream agricultural and RDI (Research, Development and Innovation) players. Finally, the key issues of attractiveness and the establishment of new businesses and the debate on the future regional hemp biorefinery and the dedicated business park were also discussed.

This second year will see the circle of partners widened and the ecosystem collectively mobilised. It will also be a year of co-creation of what the European hemp cluster will actually be. On 1 April, at the Aube Convention Centre, we’ll be raising the profile of this twofold ambition for 2021 at a major seminar designed to mobilise the community around the project. We look forward to seeing many of you there.

We look forward to working with all of you in a more friendly and personalised way than was possible in 2020. Together, we will be able to give substance to our project and, by 2022, create a dedicated structure that will enable the hemp industry as a whole to take on the dimension it deserves.

Another great year to all,

Partners of the European Hemp Cluster
