A 360° cooperative ecosystem

Companies, local authorities, promotion and development networks, farmers, research centers, universities, associations, individuals, etc., the European Hemp Pole brings together a diverse range of actors withina cooperative multi-stakeholder and multi-market ecosystem! They all joined the European Hemp Hub to contribute to the development of hemp production, processing and uses, and to make this plant a lever for the transition of our territories!

I am a French textile engineer and I own a sweater manufacturing company in Romania where I have been living for 25 years. I am deeply concerned about climate change and am striving to find solutions that can reduce the CO2 content in the air. Hemp is the ideal plant!

I've joined the European Hemp Hub to build a bridge between Romania and France. I am trying to identify opportunities in the textile sector. In Romania, I produce sweaters using 100% European hemp fibers, and I am interested in the possibility of establishing a hemp industry in Romania where our missing piece is the fiber processing. I would like to find inspiration from what is being done in France to implement these ideas in Romania.

We are the reference network for the bioeconomy in France, in Europe and internationally. Our team of over 35 specialists works for over 500 members, from the agricultural upstream to the marketing of finished products. We promote the bioeconomy, support the projects of our members, encourage meetings and collective dynamics.

It was obvious for Bioeconomy For Change to join the European Hemp Hub to combine the strength of our networks in order to make France the European leader in this sector and accelerate industrial development.

Design, development, and manufacturing of knitted fabrics using natural fibers.

We joined the European Hemp Hub to support our commitment to finding an alternative raw material to cotton.

The Centre Européen du Biotechnologie et de Bioéconomie (CEBB) is a research and training center dedicated to the valorization of agro-industrial co-products. Specialized in green chemistry, industrial biotechnologies, biomaterials, and modeling, we serve as a technological showcase and a third place for the bioeconomy, located at the heart of the Bazancourt-Pomacle biorefinery.

We have joined the European Hemp Hub because hemp and its co-products are among the biomass resources on which we conduct research at the CEBB.

The Club d’Écologie Industrielle de l’Aube (CEIA) is one of the pioneering entities in the field of industrial ecology in France. It brings together around forty members to establish a network dedicated to exchange of information and encouragement for the implementation of innovative projects in industrial and territorial ecology. Our association aims to raise awareness and connect local economic actors to facilitate the exchange or mutualization of resources, including materials, water, energy, equipment, logistics, and human resources.

As a circular economy operator for Troyes Champagne Metropole, the CEIA was approached in 2018 as an expert partner for the operational group "European Hub for Territorial Hemp Biorefinery" to lead the technical group on Biorefinery and Circular Economy. Since the creation of the European Hemp Hub, we have been actively involved in its governance and we contribute actively to its project.

CELSIUS is a manufacturer of process equipment for various industries. Our markets include pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, flavors, fragrances, and dietary supplements in France, Europe, and beyond.

We have developed and built hemp cannabidiol extraction units using liquid butane as the extraction solvent. We have joined the European Hemp Hub to collaborate on the development of such projects.

Chaux de Saint-Astier is a manufacturer of natural lime, formulated lime for hemp concrete, and mortars for the restoration of old buildings.

We have joined the European Hemp Hub to contribute to the development of the industry and support the growth of the use of hemp concrete.

CIBBIOS is a company located in the heart of Aube that manufactures prefabricated frame walls with a hemp concrete filling.

CIBBIOS joined the European Hemp Hub because we believe in the future of hemp in various fields.

FRD-CODEM is a technological resource center dedicated to eco-materials and bio-based materials.

We have joined the European Hemp Hub to contribute to the development of the hemp industry, an innovative sector providing modern solutions to current societal needs in being part of a unique collaborative innovation space that fosters human, social, and economic connections, where all ideas and proposals are possible.

As a hemp farmer, I joined the European Hemp Pole to promote the many virtues of this plant to as many people as possible.

I am a French-Hungarian engineer and investment consultant with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. I have notably participated in Franco-Hungarian and European construction projects.

As an architect sensitive to the ecological transition, I want to develop the use of natural materials for construction and develop a hemp network to reposition Hungary, and its rich past, in the forefront of the hemp field.

Producer of hemp-lime blocks and constructive solutions for the construction, renovation, and partitioning of residential, industrial, and public buildings.

As specialists in hemp blocks, we felt it was important to be part of the European Hemp Hub and contribute to the development and promotion of a wide range of hemp-related solutions.

The BTP CFA Aube is an apprentice training center for the construction and public works industry. Our training programs cover both long-term courses leading to diplomas from CAP to BTS and specific short-term courses (usually ranging from 1 day to a few weeks).

Bio-based materials such as hemp are increasingly used in construction. Our CFA offers various training programs for the use of these materials, which is why we are eager to get involved in the activities of the European Hemp Hub.

Preparation of textile fibers through carding and combing for the production of ribbons intended for various spinning systems. As a true multi-specialist, Peignage Dumortier processes bast fibers such as flax and hemp, as well as wool, viscose, and all synthetic fibers, and can offer blends of these fibers.

We aim to contribute to the momentum of rediscovering this magical plant, hemp, and co-create a new French industry of excellence.

Farmer and producer of sugar beets, alfalfa, forage seed crops, protein crops, and hemp. Established a partnership SEP with two fellow farmers.

I've joined the European Hemp Hub for its innovative ecosystem, bringing together a diverse group of proactive individuals with innovative ideas and strong expertise, along with unexpected opportunities.

The Technopole de l'Aube en Champagne aims to support innovative projects that would like to collaborate with the European Hemp Hub by providing access to our start-up ecosystem. By joining the Hub, we aspire to contribute to making the Aube region a European reference in the hemp industry for all types of projects, including the most innovative ones.

The Union des Industries Textiles Champagne-Ardennes is a professional organization for textiles and clothing. It brings together, represents, and supports local businesses in facing various challenges.

As a representative of the textile industry in the Champagne-Ardenne region, we actively support the reintroduction of hemp in textiles. The potential of this fiber in terms of ecological impact holds promise for our industries.
